Say this though, there is only one problem with the beta and probably the game when released, the crate system. Strike is a more strategic close combat approach to the game and can provide a breath of fresh air from the huge scale maps of Galactic and Starfighter Assault. In which space battles weren’t in the original game (excluding DLC) and is a real joy taking down Tie Fighters or X – Wings. The other playable multiplayer game modes Starfighter Assault and Strike were positive as well especially Starfighter Assault in which you dog fight in space to destroy objectives. I felt so inversed into the game mode and didn’t want to leave. The map was filled with such detail from civilians running away in fear, to Theed’s palace front entrance falling to the ground whilst your still in it and preparing to defend for your life is breath taking. The objective was to either destroy or protect the MTT (multi- troop transport). Over the week I manage to chip in about 8 hours of game time mainly playing Galactic Assault on Naboo.
This beta did not disappoint at all, so much so it was extended to Wednesday 11 th. Originally, between Friday 6 th – Monday 9 th (Thursday 5 th if pre ordered) players could play the highly anticipated sequel to the beautiful but lacking Star Wars Battlefront (2015). The Beta for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is here and it is insane, it really makes you feel like you are part of the Star Wars Universe and help bring balance to the force.
